Plan your gap year for 2012-2013
English students should wait to 2013 for a better deal on university fees – according to the country’s #1 student funding official.
Sir Alan Langlands, Chief Executive of the Higher Education Funding Council for England, predicts that fees will drop after 2012 as some universities find application numbers falling short. The London Times reportsSir Alan as saying he has “no doubt that people will adjust their fee levels in light of experience”. Sir Alan said he’d been surprised more universities had not set different fees for higher and lower demand courses and expected more variation in future.
